How can an apartment expand and shrink and cater to the people who live in it? A visit at a 70 m2 apartment that was renovated by Harel Pradlesky and the architect Shiran Ishay. It challenges the boundaries of the household and the personal space, while attempting to adapt itself to the daily routines and different uses characteristic of a 21st century home. Using movable partitions, furniture on wheels, furniture walls, pullout desks, two-sided drawers, a hidden curtain and other elements, the spaces in the apartment change dynamically throughout the day.
Please note, shoes must be taken off upon entering the house.
