93 Exploring the Book: On Both Sides of the Wall

A walking tour with the Jerusalem researcher, Prof. Doron Bar, following the publication of his book On Both Sides of the Wall: The Israelization of Jerusalem’s Old City (Resling Publishing). The tour will focus on the processes associated with the establishment of the Jerusalem Walls National Park that surrounds the Old City. Bar will illustrate how the walls of the Old City, its gates, the archaeological remains and the old neighborhoods have been integrated into the Jerusalem Walls National Park, the idea for which was conceived after the Six Day War.

The 90-minute tour will end near Mount Zion.
