42 A Jeruz Tour
“Today I’m fighting against brotherly hate” (a quote from a song written by Aner Shapiro z”l). This tour commemorates Aner Shapiro, a Jerusalem native and enthusiast who was murdered on October 7th while bravely defending his friends in a portable bomb shelter, fending off the terrorists and saving lives. The tour will be led by his father, the architect Moshe Shapiro, who has been an Open House Weekend Jerusalem partner and colleague for the past 20 years. The tour will pass through the city center, from the old Bezalel building to the new Bezalel campus, with a focus on heritage, people, and buildings that have been designated historical landmarks. Tribute will be paid to the city that Aner loved so much.
