166 Nechama’s Trail
A tour led by Anat Rivlin, the daughter of Nechama and Ruvi Rivlin, the tenth President of the State of Israel. It will be devoted to her mother’s memory, who lived in Jerusalem from the 1960s. Her life blended a commitment to conserving nature with her deep affection for Jerusalem and its urban nature.
The tour, which will leave from the Yefe Nof neighborhood, will trace the steps taken by Nechama, from the street she lived on to the Jerusalem Forest, to Australia Park, and to a spot with a magnificent westward view. During the tour, Rivlin will talk about her mother, her love of the landscape and the land, and the urban nature that she remembers as a child in the city.
The trail is about two kilometers long. The one-and-a-half tour will end at the meeting point.
It is advisable to wear walking shoes and come equipped with a bottle of water.
