077 Someone to Run With

Tours inspired by David Grossman’s book, Someone to Run With, which will focus on eight paintings that hang on the walls of buildings in downtown Jerusalem where the plot takes place. The tours will be led by the Jerusalem artist, Leora Wise, who illustrated the huge painting. This project, which brings literature and poetry to the city’s streets, was initiated by the Plastic Arts Department at the Jerusalem Municipality, with backing from the Culture Administration.

The book, which was published about 20 years ago, has been translated into dozens of different languages and is a considered a classic. The 90-minute tours will end at the Tut Garden in the Nachlaot neighborhood.
