009 The Toy Repository at the Israel Museum

Meeting place: the entrance to the museum, 11 Ruppin Blvd., Museum District.

Visits at the toy collection of the Ruth Youth Wing for Art Education at the Israel Museum. It contains around 15,000 items, including dolls, games and childhood-related artifacts from different periods. Collected over many years, the items reflect all aspects of the world of childhood and family life: play, learning, friendship, competition, inquisitiveness and imagination.

The tours will be led by Lia Lahav Klein, Associate Curator of Exhibitions and Project Management Officer.
