59 A Shake-Up!

Meeting point: the lobby of the VERT Hotel, 1 Ha'aliyah St.

The Jerusalem Gateway Quarter at the entrance to the city, which is currently under construction, is expected to become a vibrant business district. Its transportation infrastructure will turn the entrance to the city into the most accessible part of Jerusalem, and one of the most accessible in the country.

The Quarter was designed by Topotek 1 – an architecture firm based in Berlin and one of the leading architecture firms in the world today. Around 1.2 million m2 of office, retail, hotel, and special housing space are being built, in addition to cultural venues.

The 90-minute tour will be led by Ravid Hochfeld, the director of the Jerusalem Gateway Division at Eden – the Jerusalem Economic Development Company, which is managing the project. The tours will include a view of the Quarter from the 21st floor of the VERT Hotel, where participants will also be given an overview of the project and the progress made thus far.

The roof has limited capacity and is not accessible to persons with disabilities.
