13 Sins in the Colony

Mani Ishay, a Jerusalem tour guide who for more than 30 years was a police investigator, leads these two-and-a-half-hour tours that will focus on a number of buildings in the laid-back German Colony, while revealing some riveting episodes that occurred in them. Some of those incidents were personally investigated by Ishay when working for the police. The tours will include Ketef Hinnom, the Scottish Church, the Khan, and the train station. From there the tours will continue to the Orient Hotel and end next to the Smadar movie theater on Lloyd George Street.
