41 The Armenian Quarter and the Cathedral
Special in-depth tours that will recount the story of the small and persecuted Armenian people and their long history, as well as the story of the community that settled in the Old City in Jerusalem: the refugees who came to the city following the Armenian genocide, the Armenian Brotherhood of St. James, Armenian art, and more. The tours will be led by Michal Ben Attar, a tour guide who researched the Armenian Brotherhood during her M.A. studies in Anthropology at the Hebrew University, and whose thesis dealt with the Armenian Patriarchate.
Because the 90-minute tours include a visit at the cathedral, participants are asked to dress modestly.
