17 Palmach (Super) Heroines

Meeting point: the entrance to the Museum for Islamic Art, 2 HaPalmach St.

Two-hour tours led by Itamar Farhi, who founded the Friday at Ten project and community. He is the former CEO of Shabati, a public service economist, the founder of the Storyteller Line, the producer of Jane’s Walk Jerusalem, and a Palmach Street resident who has researched the stories of Palmach heroines. The Palmach was an elite fighting force in the underground Jewish army during the British Mandate period.

During the tours, Farhi will talk about the lives and deeds of Haviva Reich, Zahara Levitov, Netiva Ben Yehuda and other women, while strolling along real and imaginary buildings and through gardens on the street.
