A tour with Itzik Shviki, the former Jerusalem District Director at the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites, which will focus on the hospitals that were constructed outside the Old City walls towards the end of the 19th century. Most of those hospitals, which were built by different ethnic communities, are concentrated on HaNevi’im Street, and some of them still function as treatment and healing centers. The tours will start at Al Baladiyeh Hospital (the Ottoman Municipal Hospital) and continue from there to the Anglican Hospital, Bikur Cholim Hospital, the German Hospital, Sandreczky Hospital, the Hospital for the Blind, and others.
