The master plan for Talpiot, which was approved in 2021, converts this old industrial zone into a mixed-use business district, with office space, retail establishments, residences, public buildings, light industries and artisan workshops. Extending across a total area of 2 million m2, it will be located in a new transportation center that includes three light rail lines. The tour will be led by Amit Galia, the director of the Talpiot Quarter at Eden – the Jerusalem Economic Development Company. She will review the special character of Talpiot, the plans for the future and their scheduled dates of completion, and the challenges and the opportunities that they create.
The 90-minute tour will also include a view from a roof that is not accessible.
