067 Japanese Culture House
Architects: Aronson Architects and Otani-San, 2024
Come and get acquainted with the new and unexpected Japanese house at the Botanical Garden – a traditional pagoda that was designed by a team of professionals who specialize in ancient construction, while making use of age-old technologies.
The house, which is devoted to Japanese culture, will host activities that aim to introduce the public to Japan’s cultural wealth. These brief tours will describe the construction process, the challenges of adapting the structure to local standards, and the differences between the Japanese and Israeli cultures.
At the end of the tours, participants will be invited to tour the Botanical Garden free of charge.
