050 Jerusalem High School for the Arts
Architects: Braidman Agmon Weisbaum Architects, 2020
Tours with the architects Nurit Agmon, Yoel Braidman and Tal Oren, and with the school principal, Tomer Belity-Dagan. The focus will be on the new wing of the school, which includes 12 classrooms, a movie theater, a dance studio, music rooms, editing rooms, theater halls, a library, and shared and individual study spaces. During the tours, participants will hear about the principles that guided the design of this unusual educational institution, which combines pedagogical and cultural programs. The tours will also include the exhibition that showcases the products of the school community’s design workshop (in which students, teachers and parents took part), alongside a work of street art – called Brothers of Light – created by some of the school’s graduates. The project was carried out by the Jerusalem Municipality through Moriah Ltd.
