118 The Arches House

An unusual, six-story house in the Talbieh neighborhood, which has been reconfigured into a two-family home. The total design of the project, which aimed to create the sense of a relaxing Mediterranean vacation intertwined with a Jerusalem ambience, relies on a warm color palette and on arches as a recurring motif – used for the openings, the doors and the windows. The house also features handmade tiles, brass light fixtures, and stoneworks. It is surrounded by a well-tended garden that includes a jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen and different places to sit. The basement has a wine room, a sauna and a spa complex.
