113 A House in Musrara
Architect: unknown, 1896; Interior design and layout: Shari Hartuv, 2021
This elegant stone house, which was built at the end of the 19th century by a wealthy Arab doctor, features tall ceilings and arched windows. The doctor had his clinic on the ground floor, and the family lived on the second floor. Following the establishment of the State of Israel, the building was partitioned into apartments. The visits will be held in one of those apartments, situated on the original clinic floor. The renovation of the apartment preserved the original architecture, while making cautious and smart changes that were needed for adapting it to the lifestyle of the family who currently lives there.
