38 Lions in Body and Lions in Spirit

Meeting point: will be provided after signing up

The roaring lion – the symbol of the Biblical Kingdom of Judah – was also chosen for modern-day Jerusalem in 1949 at the initiative of then mayor, Gershon Agron. It will be the focus of this tour surrounding Safra Square, led by the Jerusalem tour guide, Mani Ishay. While passing by different sculptures of lions, participants will hear about various individuals who performed courageous deeds throughout history in the space between the walls of the Old City and the Russian Compound. The two-hour tour will end at Zion Square.
