033 On the Municipal Drawing Board

Urban Design Center – The Model House, Safra Square, Building 1, Floor 0

What will the Holy City look like ten years from now? Which major plans are being advanced now and which issues are currently of concern to the Jerusalem Municipality’s Planning Department?

An open discussion with the Jerusalem City Engineer, Mr. Yoel Even, about the challenges, the needs and the opportunities facing Jerusalem today. During the hourlong session, the City Engineer will outline the major plans that are currently being advanced under his leadership, including his approach to the future planning of the city. He will also present select projects simulated on the model of the city of Jerusalem. 

The session will be moderated by the architect Dinai Orenstein, the chair of the Jerusalem branch of the Association of Architects and Town Planners, and participants will be able to ask questions.

The event is sponsored by the Urban Design Center at the Model House, the Jerusalem Municipality and the Association of Architects and Town Planners.
