Two, 2-hour bike tours led by members of Bicycles for Jerusalem, who will talk about the cycling infrastructure in the city. They will point out existing and future cycling infrastructure in Jerusalem, tell the seminal story of cycling infrastructure in the city, present the trends and changes characterizing cycling-related planning, and discuss what constitutes optimal cycling planning in the city. The tours will end next to the old Shaare Zedek Hospital complex (161 Jaffa Road).
Participating riders should come equipped with a bike in good condition, a helmet, a bottle of water, and an energy bar or fruit. Participation in the tours, which are of moderate difficulty, is at the cyclists’ own risk. It is advisable to arrive at the meeting place about 15 minutes before the tour starts for final logistical arrangements.
