A 90-minute tour run by the Shabati Project, which advances shared use of the public space by religious and nonreligious people. It will be led by Itamar Farhi, an economist and Palmach Street resident who researched the stories of Palmach heroines. The Palmach was an elite fighting force in the underground Jewish army during the British Mandate period. Farhi will talk about the lives and acts of those heroines, while walking between real and imaginary buildings and through gardens on the street. He will highlight the great contribution made by Haviva Reich, Zahara Levitov, Netiva Ben Yehuda and other women.
