Meeting place: Korenblum Garden (the Goat Flag sculpture), 61 Emek Refaim St.

A tour of the Baka neighborhood, which was built at the end of the 19th century for Arabs who formerly lived in the Old City and it flourished and grew during the British Mandate period. Jews started moving to the neighborhood in the 1950’s, leading to the construction of many synagogues and housing projects. The three-hour tour will pass by homes in the neighborhood and focus on its history, the architectural styles found there, and the people who live there.

The three-hour tour will be led by Efrat Asaf, a Jerusalem tour guide.
